As mentioned above, the All-in-One POS is a handheld, Android-powered device for small businesses and merchants across the country that aims to make it easier for these merchants to accept payments through Cards, Paytm Wallet, different UPI apps, and cash. The device comes with an All-in-One QR code, which supports all contact and contactless payments. In addition, it has integrated billing software and customized solutions for use in different use case scenarios and also includes an in-built printer and scanner, which can come in handy when merchants need to generate GST compliant bills and manage all transactions and settlements. Speaking on the launch of the All-in-One solution, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder, and CEO of Paytm said, “Over the past 18 months, we have invested a lot of time in understanding the needs of small businesses around digital payments. Today, we are launching this incredible Paytm All-in-One POS device with a super sleek android form factor with cloud services. This device offers a comprehensive business tool right on the desk of millions of small businesses. We strongly believe that offerings like these will help expand the market and drive further acceptance of digital payments, and at the same time enable our merchant partners to operate their business more efficiently.” The All-in-One POS device features a full-size display up front and comes with pre-installed with cloud-based software for billing, payments, and customer management. Further, it includes Wi-Fi and Cellular (pre-installed SIM card) as connectivity options. Some of the use-case scenarios in which the device can prove to be useful include situations where SMEs need to automate some of their business processes. For example, restaurants can take advantage of the All-in-One POS device to accept orders from their customers and relay them back to their kitchens, or event organizers, who can directly issue tickets in exchange for money directly right at the event location. Moving forward, the company says it plans to include support for more industries in the future, similar to how it has managed to do a series of pilots for industries like bus ticketing, parking management, logistics, and home delivery.
